I’ve just seen that WordPress MU 1.5.1 is out, it’s based on WordPress 2.5.1 so I’m off to try it out with the most current version of BuddyPress.
I’ve also had a look at StayPress and it looks like it may have some real potential for my Flatmate project.

The anticipation for my new server is killing me. I’ve mapped out the sites that need to be moved ASAP and I’ve also tested all the blogs I host with WP 2.5.1 and will be upgrading them on the new server.
It’s a sad day when the height of excitement for me is a new server and some software upgrades, but in my defence I have also started exploring cooking which is great fun. We’ve bought the first three of the Jamie Oliver books and they have become our bed time and loo reading. I think a minor competition may be in the offing as we have both made a dish with great success. It’s going to be a matter of time before we sneak off like junkies to our dealers to source the ingredients for our next dish to try and outdo each other.
But the burning question for me is, “Scallops. Where from?” Do we get them in Cape Town?
Well it’s time for a snack, there is a 500ml tub of custard and a bunch of bananas calling my name.
