Habibti decided to make a Banana Tarte Tatin last night and aside from the initial muddy sludge looking caramelised sugar it turned out damn fine. Not sure where in the pyramid this would fall, but I’ll do a Tarte Tatin supper any time.

As you can see, the excitement was almost too much to bare.

In taking a break from sitting in front of my computer I decided to sit in front of the TV for a few minutes. As luck would have it Star Trek was about to start and I’ve been trying to see the whole thing for a few weeks now. Some snacks were required so I hobbled up to the corner shop for chips and Fanta. I somehow sprained my ankle yesterday and it was not when I stepped on the snail as Habibti claims. As I got near Anwar’s house I heard this little voice say “Uncle Brenton, take picture”. Not a question, but a demand. So, back home I hobble and pick up my camera to “take picture”.

I’m a Google fanatic. I use it for everything, from solving work problems to finding the theme song for Wallander.  So I was doing a “How to …” search the other day when I paused and the normal Google suggestions popped up and it struck me as the perfect step by step guide to living a fulfilling life.

Just not sure about the “fall/get pregnant” duplication, would have thought it would be like riding a bike – do it once and you’d never want to do it again.
